Dibyendu Chatterjee is a struggling writer of science fiction novels, a genre that is not very popular anymore among readers in Bengal. Dibyendu fails to get an explanation from the man who seems absolutely indifferent. But as he turns to leave both the man and the birds vanish into thin air. What he experiences is a strange scenario from the kind of stories that is usually imagined and written by him in his books. Such absurdities have no place in the real. But what he is yet to realize, is that in his pursuit of the truth he is about to witness the weirdest of illusions, mankind has ever seen.

This short film "Taboodisobis" took a long time to put together, before and after production - it was written based on snippets and scraps from a dream journal, and made into a story about the value of meditation, being calm, and continuing to work towards your goals even in the face of failure. The visual effects became an entirely person project, for almost twelve months after shooting ended.
